Our machines have been hard at work recently as we have returned from the Christmas and New Year period with plenty of exciting projects coming into, and out of, the business.
There has been a range of different requests in over the past couple of months, and we were able to get this (admittedly short!) video of this job.
Lets explain what is happening here:
This machine is a 'Heidelberg' folding machine, with a knife unit attached to the end. The machine is folding two folds into the paper, before being passed into the knife unit, for an extra fold in half. This machine can fold 6 folds within the first unit, and when the paper is crossed into another unit it can fold an additional 6 folds, then into a knife unit (if required) afterwards. That's a lot of folds.
The knife unit is swivel-mounted and allows us to offer a range of folding schemes - meaning greater options to cater to your requirements.
This particular job has been trimmed to size first in a larger machine, then folded (as you can see happening in the video), before being packaged up and boxed as a finished item all ready for shipping to our customer.
